Walking Tour: Cooperatives of the Lower East Side
Join UHAB and the Cooper Square Committee as we walk through LES and learn about housing co-ops, squats, food co-ops, community gardens, and more! Together, we will visit different types of cooperatives and learn from their members what the solidarity economy looks like in LES.
Date: Saturday, Oct 26th, 11:00AM – 1:30PM
Location: Tompkins Square Park | 9th and Ave. B
*Please be at 9th & Ave. B at 10:45 am so we can begin on time!*
**Please note, we expect to walk up a few flights of stairs.
