A radical quilt exhibit at MORUS in partnership with the Social Justice Sewing Academy.
SJSA hosts quilt-making workshops in schools, prisons, and community centers around the country in order to inspire young people to create art that discusses topics such as gender discrimination, mass incarceration, gun violence, gentrification, and racism. The quilts created by these young activists and volunteers have been shown in museums, shows, and galleries and sparked important conversations about race, politics, and crucial movements towards change in our country.
