Meet at the Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space (MoRUS) before tracking the subterranean streams that crossed the historical salt marsh around Avenue C and visiting nearby installed and planned green infrastructure. Presented by Green Map NYC and MoRUS with special guest, LES Breathe, who will bring air quality and temperature sensors along for the walk.

All ages welcome. At the 6th Street overpass we’ll decide whether to cross into the open section of East River Park or conclude back at MoRUS.

This Jane’s Walk & LES History Month event is part of Interference Archive’s Our Streets! Our City! Self-Determination & Public Space in NYC, an exhibition exploring collective and creative resistance used to reimagine public spaces and infrastructure; fight displacement; and transform urban planning processes.
